Abstract
UKIDSS survey operations were completed at the end of May this year. Our follow-up of the UKIDSS late-T dwarf sample is also nearing completion. I will present our improved constraints on the late-T dwarf space density, and review how it compares to estimates from contemporary surveys. Approximately 1500 sq degs of LAS sky has also been imaged at a second epoch. Combined with our own follow-up, this provides proper motions for a significant fraction of our sample. I will discuss the early results of our kinematic analysis in the context of our observed space density, and will summarise the properties of the wide binary population we are uncovering.
