Abstract
We have derived a revised temperature scale for M dwarfs using the MOITE method. MARCS synthetic spectra plus some empirical spectra were used in the derivation. The new temperature scale is hotter than the old scale and starts to divert from the old scale at around 3700K reaching 300K hotter for the latest M spectral types.
